History

The studio quickly became one of the most professional and advanced studios in the Delaware area. In 2006, the studio relocated to a larger facility located on Rt. 9, where they established a traveling competition team and, to this day, the Academy continues to be a five time national award-winning studio. The academy is recognized for excellence in technique, choreography and outstanding performances.

Over the years, the students at Coastal Dance Academy have performed at local events, attended various dance conventions and competitions, performed on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and danced at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

In 2011, the studio has grown from a large one room facility to a beautiful state of the art studio located in The Village of Five Points downtown Lewes!

Today, the academy offers over 30 classes weekly taught by instructors whom have trained extensively and present their material in the most professional manner.

Coastal Dance is also known for its spectacular end of the year showcases, which are held in June.
