History

Coastal Dance Academy opened its doors in the fall of 1996 as a small studio located on Rt. 1 in Lewes, Delaware.

The studio quickly became one of the most professional and advanced studios in the Delaware area. In 2006, the studio relocated to a larger facility on Rt. 9 in Georgetown where it's currently located today.

Over the years, the students at Coastal Dance Academy have attended various dance conventions, performed on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and danced at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

In 2006, the Academy established a traveling competition team and, to this day, the Academy continues to be a four time national award-winning studio. Coastal Dance is also known for its annual dance showcases, which are held in June.
