Basic Dress Rules:
No gum
No jewelry
Hair must be pulled back in a tight pony tail or bun
Dancewear & dance shoes can be purchased at Coastal Dance Academy!

Pre-Tap & Ballet Level 1 & 2
  • Black leotard (any style)
  • Pink tights
  • Pink or black ballet skirts acceptable
  • Black tap shoes
  • Pink ballet shoes
  • Hair pulled back in pony tail or bun
Tap Classes
  • Black leotard (any style)
  • Tan tights
  • Booty shorts
  • TAN split sole tap shoes
    (Level 1, 2 & 3)
  • BLACK split sole tap shoes
    (Level 4, 5, Adv. & Comp)
  • Hair pulled back in pony tail or bun
Ballet Classes
  • Black leotard (any style)
  • Tan tights
  • Caramel Capezio Pedinis
  • Hair pulled back in pony tail or bun
Pointe Classes
  • Same dress attire as ballet
  • Pink pointe shoes
Jazz Classes
  • Any color leotard or tank top
  • Tan tights
  • Booty shorts or jazz pants
  • Caramel Capezio Pedinis
  • Beg. Jazz - Caramel Capezio JAZZ shoes
  • Hair pulled back in pony tail
Hip-Hop Classes
  • Same dress attire as jazz
  • Sweatpants are acceptable
  • Black hip-hop sneakers
Ballroom Classes
  • Same dress attire as jazz
  • Caramel or Black Pedinis for junior & teen dancers
  • 2" heels for senior dancers

 

 
Dance Store:

If you would like to purchase dance shoes, accessories, tights, leotards, tank tops or booty shorts we do have them available in the studio lobby.

Appropriate dance attire must be worn at all times in the classroom.
Cover-ups should be worn when arriving and leaving the studio!
