PLEASE NOTE: Classes listed above are offered to beginners through advanced dancers to both girls and boys. Placement is based on age, ability and teacher recommendation. Please realize that we want all our students to progress and become successful dancers. A lot of students want to be placed in a higher level class due to convenience as well as status. We are working towards confidence, self esteem and progress. When improperly placed it is not only destructive to the child but a roadblock to further progress the student and their fellow classmates. This is just like school. You would not think of taking your child and skipping grades and levels just because of convenience. We want your child to learn all they can and enjoy dancing!

45 Minutes - $45.00
1 Hour - $55.00
1 Hour 15 Minutes - $65.00
1 Hour 30 Minutes - $75.00
1 Hour 45 Minutes - $85.00
2 Hours - $95.00
2 Hours 30 Minutes - $105.00
2 Hours 45 Minutes - $115.00
3 Hours - $125.00
3 Hours 45 Minutes - $135.00

BALLROOM AND ADULT HIP-HOP CLASSES ARE PRICED SEPERATE:

BALLROOM: Starting November 2nd
1 Hour- $55.00 a month
1 Hour- $25.00 a month (If you take Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap and Ballet classes)

ADULT HIP-HOP: Two Sessions
First session: October 1st- November 5th
Second session: January 7th- February 25th
1 Hour- $70.00 for 6 week session
You may sign up for 1 or both sessions! $10.00 off 2nd session if you attend both!

TUITION POLICY:

  • Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of every month. Payments are considered LATE after the 10th of the month and a $15.00 late fee will be due at that time. If your payment is not in by the 10th, your child will not be able to participate in class.
  • It is your responsibility to have your payment in on time. You will not be notified unless your payment is not up to date.
  • There is an additional $30.00 charge for all returned checks. Please make checks payable to Coastal Dance Academy.
  • All tuition money is non-refundable.

STUDIO RULES:

  • No food or drinks will be permitted in the classroom at anytime. You may eat and drink in the lobby area.
  • No gum allowed in the studio.
  • Be on time for your class and come ready to dance.
  • Do not enter the classroom while class is in session.
  • There will be NO excessive talking, foul language and disrespectful behavior to your fellow dancers or teachers. You are a team and everyone should get along with each other. We are here to DANCE!

SCHOOL CLOSING:

We will follow the Cape Henlopen School District calendars for most Holiday closings. However, if it is weather related we will post the classes that will be canceled that day by 12:00 Noon. Please be sure to check the calendar before driving to the studio.

COSTUMES:

Costumes are an additional fee and usually range anywhere between 65 and 85 dollars per costume per dance. Costume deposits will be due by the first part of November and the balances will be due by the first of March. All costume money is non-refundable.

RECITAL PICTURES:

Recital pictures are usually taken during the month of May. A professional photographer (Lloydlee Heite) will take individual and group pictures of each class for you to purchase. Pictures are held at the studio.

RECITAL:

Our annual recital is usually held the first part of June. We will have two MANDATORY studio rehearsals and one dress rehearsal. There is no obligation to participate in the recital. However, if you make the commitment to participate, we ask that you attend all scheduled practices. This is a team effort and everyone should take this seriously. There is a possibility we will be holding two shows this year due to the amount of students in our studio. Your child will be required to attend both performances. Recital tickets will go on sale in May for an additional charge.
